The Launch Blueprints

Three businesses. Ready to start this weekend.

Each Launch Blueprint is a mini-course, a pricing worksheet, customer materials, and a launch checklist. You leave the first session with something finished. Price shown is for the course and tools — startup supplies are separate and listed on each card.

12 and under

Buttonology

Maker

Make and sell custom button pins. A customer picks a design, you press it, they walk away with something they helped create.

What's included: Step-by-step mini-course, child and adult jobs broken out clearly, pricing worksheet, table sign, order form, set-of-six upsell guide, and fair-day checklist.

What you'll spend to start: A starter button-maker kit runs roughly $100–$160 (illustrative — check current prices). Under $0.20 per button after that.

Adult involvement: An adult operates the press and handles payment. The child runs the customer conversation, designs the buttons, and loads the parts.

Neighborhood Pet Care

Service

Walk dogs, feed cats, and check on pets while neighbors are at work or traveling. One happy neighbor becomes a regular customer.

What's included: Mini-course with safety ruleset for under-12, pet care card, visit log, neighbor message the parent sends, order form, and follow-up note.

What you'll spend to start: Almost nothing. Startup supplies run $0–$25 (illustrative). Most equipment belongs to the customer.

Adult involvement: An adult accompanies the child for every first visit and holds the house key. The child greets the pet, fills the water bowl, writes the log.

Teens

Kwonsignment

Resale

Help people sell stuff they no longer need — and earn a cut when it sells. No upfront cost to anyone.

What's included: Commission worksheet, item intake form, comps research checklist, photo guide, listing template, buyer message templates, sale tracker, and payout notes.

What you'll spend to start: $0 for local pickup. Under $35 if you ship.

Adult involvement: A parent or trusted adult must own the marketplace account and handle all payments.

More teen blueprints are coming. Get the free guide to hear first.

Inside every blueprint

Seven parts. One real business.

Every Launch Blueprint follows the same structure. You can finish one part in a sitting and come back for the next.

01
Overview
What this business is, how money is earned, and whether it fits your family right now.
02
Starting offer
One specific thing to sell, to one specific customer, at one specific price.
03
Pricing & costs
What to charge, what it costs to deliver, and what the profit looks like per sale.
04
Customer materials
Editable worksheets, order forms, and templates ready to use with your first customer.
05
Delivery
How to complete the job or sale, handle payment, and fulfill any follow-up.
06
First actions
Three things to do this week to move from "learning" to "doing." One is sending a message to a real person.
07
Next steps
Where to go after the first sale: grow, repeat, or find a second customer.
A look inside — Buttonology overview
What a normal sale involves
"The customer sees your buttons or describes what they want. You or the customer prepares a design — a hand-drawn picture, a printout, or text on paper. The design is cut to size and placed in the button press with a shell and a mylar cover. An adult operates the press to seal the button. You hand the finished button to the customer and collect payment."

  • A mini-course and a business blueprint. The mini-course covers the business in seven parts — overview, starting offer, pricing and costs, customer materials, delivery, first actions, and next steps. The blueprint includes editable worksheets and templates ready to use. You get immediate access online and can return to your materials any time.
  • The blueprint price covers the course and tools, not startup supplies or equipment. Each blueprint includes a startup cost guide that estimates what you'll spend to get the business running. Those costs are separate and depend on what you already have. We keep them explicit so there are no surprises.
